Due to the shredder's massive size it's parts must be shipped individually and built on site. The construction of the shredder will be a three month process with an estimated completion date of early 2008. The massive 5,000 horse power motor allows the shredder to process 120-150 tons of material an hour, with a downstream system that includes dual eddy-current and an ISS system with the latest technology that separates non-ferrous metals from waste stream; therefore reducing the amount material destined for the landfill.
